How to remove the spinner casing from a spinning reel?

I'm not too familiar with reel terms but I'll try my best to explain. I believe I got some loose line wrapped under the reel, inside the spinning casing. My reel was getting stuck after one spin, so I removed the spool and spotted line wrapped on the inside shaft, removed it and it spins again. Only problem is that it is not "smooth" like it used to be, I can hear some noise when spinning so I am thinking there is still line wrapped but on the inside part through the bottom. Here is a picture, the text is over the parts I want to remove.
There is a gold gear and this lock on the shaft that is hard to remove, I don't want to force it cuz I'm worried I'll damage or break it. Anyone know how to remove this line?

First you have to remove the cover down across from the handle. when you open it you will see a clamp or just screws going through the vertical shaft. Take those off and the shaft will pull out from the top. After that you expose the nut that holds the piece you want to take off. Remove that nut and the part you want to remove will separate from the bottom section of the reel. That nut is probably left hand threaded so clockwise to loosen and counter to tighten.

Thanks! I'll try that today.

I checked underneath that spinning case thing and there is no line under there. I tried to ignore the problem, so I took the reel out to fish and it sucked. I would cast out and it would only go a short distance because it would get stuck somehow. And reeling back in was a bit tough.
I opened it up again and everything is lubricated but noticed that it is the gear that is making like a grinding noise every time I spin it. I took more pictures of it, maybe someone knows what to do or maybe I'll have to take it in for a pro to take a look at it which is unfortunate cuz this thing is brand new.

On some of those spanning reel, sometime there is a washer/O-ring/Seal under the cover where the handle screw into the gear, and if that is put in wrong, face up or down,it could cause a problem. Or it might even fall in behind the gears.

I'm pretty sure this one didn't have a washer. There was a plastic one on the top part when you remove the spool, but that one is still on there. I guess there's no other option, I'll take it in to Basspro. Just hope they don't charge much cuz like I said this thing is new, I haven't even paid it off yet lol.

Thanks everyone for your input. Last night I was messing with it again because after opening up again and checking everything again it still wasn't working smoothly. It finally stopped spinning completely. I eff'ed it up more lol.. I was resigned but a light bulb went off. I called the store I bought it from and turns out since it wasn't a month old yet I could exchange it! So I did, I have a brand new working reel again. And I got the extended year warrant because I have a feeling "something" is gonna happen to it towards the end of the year and I'll be able to get a new one again.
