Bluefish = Top water lure, Zara Spooks, Top Dogs, Anything thats got a wiggle and a rattle will get them to the surface

As for under the water Xraps, Yousuris work but they will shred the lure in a matter of a few catches. I have seen Blues snap a yosuri in half.

the 4inch and the bigger ones is what I use, I think they are the 10 and 14 thats the number as in xr10 xr14 I think that is how it goes.

Mackerel
Number one mack catcher Crappie jig or
Xraps, Yosuris, other jigs as in Bucktails --- Spoons Spoons Spoons

Lady fish will take lures but they like the smaller ones, I do better with Jigs for them.

Remember to duck Ladyfish like to let go and alot of the time it will shoot back at ya,

Yea, defenitely get ready to duck when your landing a ladyfish, shake rattle and roll and they spit a lure or spoon better then most.

i fish a lot of different piers and have had the best results with a sabiki rig. i get special ones that have #2 hooks, a 40 pound mainline and 25 pound branch lines becaus the lighter sabikis get cut off. with this rig i catch a lot of spanish macs, blues, ladies and ribbon fish.
when there are bigger macs in the water i like to use a one ounce spoon and about two feet up from the spoon i use i one once sinker to keep it neer the bottom.
i always use silver spoons :happyfisherman:
