Coming Aboard ?

Post by onshore »

Is the Swordfish coming aboard or is the crew and fishermen going
overboard ? One of my favorite olde time fishing pictures. Swordfishing off Nantucket - circa 1936. Note the bamboo rod and makeshift fighting chair.

I feel like that fishing on the kayak Sometimes. That is a GREAT Photo and one I would frame and hang in the office.

Do you know where I could get a copy ?

Throw a saddle on it and ride it to shore.

Nice pic!
I dont think those guys are really worried about going overboard. The guy taking the photo has a nice big boat that this tender belongs to. Or does he?

Dang!
They are definitely bringing that big boy on board that little boat. That gloved hand is reaching for the gill plate and this looks like well before the days of tag and release.
