well that can be a trick one actually. There is a few routes you can go.

1) is to go to walmart and get some of the cheap 1 minute epoxy that has the self mixing applicator tip. Wedge a hole next to the seat and get the tip in there and get as much as possible under the seat. Do it from both ends and that should work for a little while. But its only a quick fix.

2) If your rod has an EVA foam grip you may be able to loosen it up with hot water and slide it up and get in and actually do it right. If its cork, you might can twist it by hand and break the glue loose against the blank to slide it up. But you may crush it.

3) is to cut the rear grip off and redo the reel seat from the back end and slide a new EVA grip up. But doing it backwards like that isnt easy because you are going against the taper of the rod. But I have done it when I realllly had to.

4) is to strip all of the guides off, the reel seat and grips off, then rebuild the rod.

Fixing a reel seat is not an easy repair, even if you are a rod builder.

Post some pics or some more info as to the type size make of rod and I may be able to give you better advice on which route to take.
