sheepies! help

So iv been going nuts trying for sheeps. I have caught 1 accidently on a sand free pompano rig at juno. I know a kid there who catches them on shrimp under the t.

I got 3 shorts at sebastain on the catwalk during slack tide on fiddler crabs and saw a couple caught on live sand fleas. I was using a 2oz fish finder rig current rips there

I found a spot here, that I see then but read if you see them they won't eat. So should I go at night? I tried fresh shrimp pieces today and live and frozen fleas no luck. They laughed at me. I broke off a ton of barnacles and, poop no help.

How do you catch the fiddlers they are too fast for me?

Advice please! Kblue take me and show me the secret

I was fishing at Dania the other day and overheard some locals talking how to catch sheepsheads.. They say you have to flip a quarter every time before you cast.. if its tail, they dont bite.. if its head then

I freeline or use a small split shot weight to fish for them. Fish for them when the tide isn't running that much.

For fiddler crab, I just look in their hole and if I can see them, I stick a knife at an angle blocking them from going deeper into the hole. I then just push them out of the hole and catch them that way.

Can find them in southern biscayne bay on the flats, I frequently see them where freshwater meets saltwater too.

Read where their common habitats are...I fish freshwater almost every day and know the differences but say what you want.

If you haven't already. You should go out and buy an electronic fish finder...

Also it wouldn't hurt to update your GPS maps, scanners, sensors, and trackers.

No need for PM's If you want to get fiddler crabs,

use a fiddler crab trap.

i use a standard carolina rig with the slide weight and a small hook, shrimp usually work well for me. always do best during a cold front or right after. I only do okay over here, if you want alot of sheepies take a trip to the perserve on sanibel island, there its like shooting fish in a barrel this time of year
