Caught in Clearwater Bay on June 29th. This fish is about 8 inches long and had hundreds of needle sharp teeth. I can't ID it, anyone?

Very aggressive little buggers. They've saved me from a total skunkin' a couple of times though. :jocolor:

Lizardfish believe it or not good bait for certain species.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Thanks guys for your help. Never caught one of them before and was happily in the middle of catching a bunch of other little fish with daughter when this one interrupted us.

:uplol: :uplol: This is SOOOOOOOO true... when I am at the pier with my boys, if I see first a cowfish, then a sea robin, then a lizard... we pack up and leave.. hahahaha

Was using a vertical jig off the sea legs one day when I felt a little thump, reeled in a lizardfish, couldn't believe it
There's no such thing as too much bait!!
