I need help on catching blue crabs . Can somebody tell me where can I catch them. I am in the fort lauderdale area . Have tried twice without any good results . I have a trap that I purchased at bass pro shop. It is the kind that you leave overnight .

Try the Dania Cutoff canal. There are plenty in there.

Ummm not sure which trap you purchased because I am pretty sure we don't sell any leave overnight ( passive traps )........... just saying....

put a trap over by the rustic inn resteraunt there are tons of them in there and thats right by bass pro

In the miami river near 17th ave is LOADED with them all the time, I used to spend my days there catching them for years and at some times u would see 30 to 40 within 4 hours.

Would someone tell me how to get to the dania cutoff canal? I'm really bad when it comes to the locations but once i have been there once I will know it. Thanks in advance. Also how can I get to the river in Miami 17thstreet? I live out west in Broward county
