Secret ITEM is a Bottle of Gatorade, any of the gatorade bottles.

I chose this because you can get one anytime of the night or day.

bro, i was going into town and saw the marathon lady coming in so i stopped by to see the catch. Pitiful is all i can say. 80% were grunts of 8" or less. The rest were mostly 10" grovers that looked more like 9" grovers. Saw one yellow tail and a couple of 12" grovers.
One guy had a vertical jig tied on , i bet he was reel disappointed.

BoatlessFisherman wrote:RULES FOR THIS TOURNEY

This Tourney will be for 4 weeks]
Start Date will be July 15th 2011 12am Friday

1.Snapper
2.Jack Crevalle
3.Mackerel or a Barracuda -- Not both if you live in the north your best bet would be A King and if you live in the south it would be a Cuda. You can submit one of each and we can pick the largest one and make that your entry. Some people will be lucky to be able to go for both but you can only have one of these two species count as your over all Length tally.

Rules
1.You must submit a picture of yourself here in this thread, also ask all questions here

2. A Clear picture of you and the fish and it being measured next to a tape measure that can be read and the secret print out I put up or have a judge put up a 12am start day.
MEASUREMENT IS--> Over All Length so you can Pinch the Tail to get every bit in.
Your Fish entry's must be submited here
http://www.boatlessfishing.com/forum/vi ... 19&t=26236

This picture would have to also have the fisherman in it with a smile not just your feet.
Image

3. It must be caught from land, you would be lame to enter a boat caught fish anyone can catch a fish from a boat. Not so easy to find the bIg ones from land, this is honor based and I believe in all of you.

4. All entry photos of fish will have to be submitted with in 48 hours of catch. No oh I forgot to submit this one-Won't count. So I suggest you submit all of your catchs that hold some size. We will weed out the smaller and keep the biggest to count.

5. It will be your responsibility to watch the leader board and correct any issues with me as we go, you will have 36 hours after I submit a change to the leader board for you to correct any mistakes.

6. A total of the combine lengths of the largest of each species will be totaled and that will be your number. So this means a Snapper at 25inches, a King or Cuda {Only one of these two species can be a part of your total number} at 38inches and a Jack Crevalle at 30 inches = 93 inches

7. No snatching or snagging of fish.

This is for FUN and make sure you have fun.

Judges to help if needed, I will have them judge a photo if I am not 100% on size.

2.Krash
3.james380

I may add more RULES, but I want to keep it simple

It was meant as Kings but if you want to try and beat a Cuda or King with a Cero or Spanish, I guess you can.

I assure you the length of the cuda or King will be 40 inches or bigger and i don't see even a Cero coming in at that.

Nice Grover John, now it's time to go get sum muttons man! and you have the jacks and cudas right around your corner as well.

In my way home from Orlando I borrowed 15 minutes from my family to fish a creek and all I caught was a small snook. There was nothing else in there but micro snooks. I hope to fish a good hour sometime this week and I hope to see some nice fish posted by you guys on Monday....

Tommy, I don't care but if I understood it right we are going for total inches of the combined counting fish..... It is alot harder to get a legal king and even a big cuda than a mac or cero.... to add to the total bag.

I just want to mention that John (Green Tide) has an unfair advantage as he lives in the Keys. I think we should all go stay with him for the duartion of the tourney. But only if Clarice does the cooking. And I know I'm not in the tourney, But her cooking is to die for so I'll chaperon. :biglaugh: :chef:
Nice Boat! Now get it outa my driveway!
