After a couple of weeks learning how to twist wire I was told I was doing it wrong the whole time and about 50% of ppl that twist wire are doing it the wrong way as a 70 year old fisherman told me can't really speak on that but those are words from him he showed me a video that is simple stupid and gets straight to the point after going through about half of a bag of #19 and fingers going numb and wire flying all around the bedroom I kinda could say i'm getting there kinda lol atleast looking a lot better and stronger and more trust worthy than what I've been using

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZVK2hO4XLM

he told me if your twist doesn't look like a coat hanger it's not worth putting in the water
by all means not trying to know anything just trying to help others if help is needed in this area thanks for all the help you guys have given me

first one is the one I've been using for a while now and was shown to me by a buddy of mine and never pulled or failed me yet

Image

second one is the way I was shown yesterday buy an old fisherman a lot more practice is needed but what can I say i'ma give it a try lol

open to any advice thanks in advance

first one dont look too good, second one its the right way but for a shark you should twist it more like 8 or 10 times .the wire you brake it with your hand move it up n down.
