Bridges sits over a deep channel offers more opportunity on catching big fish. Fish the pilings and look for reef patches that hold muttons. Channels usually draws in the larger fish to feed when the tide changes. Easy meal for them.

The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

Howsomever; some piers have channels and can be fished just like a bridge.

Find the channel and fish the tides. Remember that the outgoing tide makes the best current. The change of the tide will produce the best current when fish pile up and wait for the goodies(bait) to come to them.

If you fish a pier a lot, you can observe this pattern and fish it accordingly. JMHO C2
