Fished the t-dock. Lota bait in the water but not much chasing it...at least where i was anyway. There were alot of finger mullet but not in astronomical numbers. Waters very clear but the seaweed started coming in as the tide changed from outgoing to incoming.

Fished sebastian north and south jetties yesterday from 10am-8pm Both had pretty good blue fish action, and I got 4, and lost 3. Also caught a stingray and 2 nice jacks. there wasn't any bait around except for pinfish. :reeling:

Been there, done that. It can be like warfare at the north jetty, between the newgans, googans and regulars. I like to fish the flounder run on the west side of the bridge from land, lots of room to spread out and much more relaxing. I will only fish the mouth of the inlet, just past the end of the north jetty from my boat.

Jared and I went up again to SI... It is closer than CH2... Anyway, we wanted to do pompano surf fishing before day break... We arrived earlier than bait shop open... and got some live fleas... It was still dark... we thought we were a little too early...at first cast into dark, I had a bite and caught double head keepers and about same time, Jared had couple of bites and caught a few but one keeper... we were excited...but that was the only bites we had... BTW, Jared had a big fish on his rod making him walk and I thought permit but hook pulled out...
We headed inlet for sheepies but they didn't bite fleas... was shrimp day for sheepies...We switched to mack and caught about 20 mackerels (small) in 2 hours where I wasted 1.5 hours to try many other things and finally figured out something working (this was fun part of day) and then every cast caught mack... We didn't want to catch too many mack...so we called it a day early around noon in middle of hot bites (Jared have to catch a boat tomorrow early AM )...but it has been a real while that I caught so many mack... SI is amazing place while every other places failed...

Awesome job kblue.

For dirty water I like to cut up the shrimp(mostly in half), it get the smell going. I think shrimp works better than sand flea. Also I am just lazy to go find fiddler crabs... LOL

I enjoyed the cool jazz music that accompany the waves crashing as you fish. I was falling asleep not of being bored but because I was in deep trance. Tks for sharing your video hope to see many many more :toast:

It would be boring with all the fish catching. After that one day I didn't want to mess with a camera I just wanted to catch fish. Maybe I'll take it this weekend

FYI...the north jetty has been closed at night for fishing, due to idiots on the jetty casting weights at people on boats. Way to go, another great fishing spot lost.
