Juno Fishing Pier 01/11/06 w/Pics

Post by BoatlessFisherman »

Ok this is Killing me, I can't fish days in Juno its to far to travel and getting back in time to do what I need to do everyday is imposible, so here again is a report from the Roofer who is fishing it as I write.

Morning Started with Spanish and alot of them a few Kings "snakes" but only a few, then 5lb Jacks moved in and the last few hours they have been catching alot of fish, when the Jacks and Macks slowed the rays showed up and Dave got another Keeper Cobia. When I called at 12:30 he had a Ray on and was holding it while everyone fished the cobia and 5 I believe were pulled off of this Ray.

Later today when the Roofer stops by for us to chop chop, I will add to this report.

Ok the report is like this they got about 10 cobia off that ray and I believe it was 4 keepers all day, alot of Spanish macks and the roofer said he had his bluefish limit before the sun came up, he's in bed now he's going again in the morning but with much bigger fish in mind.

Here is a couple of pics before they met the Blade.

The Cobia was 36 inches and 17 lb, Macs were from 2 lbs to to 4 lbs
