Not that I know of. I would say that a speargun should be treated with the same respect as a firearm though and in my opinion needs parental supervision for someone under 16.

Can I use a speargun in the Keys? Also does anyone know which bridges do not allow hook and line fishing? My understanding is that these ones can be speared close to.

You can use a Speargun/pole spear/hawaiian sling/etc. if you are south of long key and follow the normal regs (i.e. 100 yards away from shore/fishing bridge/etc).

Wzup fellas. I heard something about lobster mini season coming up. I never done this before so if anybody that knows some spots and knows how to hunt for them i will be interested in going please....

I don't go out during mini season. Have you ever tried catching lobster. I find that its way easier with a buddy and in the keys.

In the keys you can shoot fish and catch lobster in 6 ft of water...

We ended up not putting into the water. The weather was just no good. I did however jump into the water close to the shore. I was surprised to fin school master snapper right in the rocks on shore....

My buddy and I rented a tandem ocean Kayak. We are going to go out further on Oakland reef and check it out. If anyone else has a Kayak and wants to join us, they are welcome to do so.

I am headed out for Oakland reef early on the 4th. We will swim out to the 2nd or 2rd reef line, and drift until right before Anglins.

If anyone wants to head out with us, let me know.
