While searching things, I found this clip-on LED that only turns on when fish bites. LED doesn't turn on by wind or wave. It has sensor that detects fish bite and ignores wind or wave. Maybe, perfect...

why did you even need a free spool lever why not just loosen the drag ?

If you loosen the drag on conventional reel, it would be hard to set it back to the correct drag position when fish is on.

Out of all the reels I've owned, the Penn Battle is the best performance for the value I've ever seen. If you plan on doing any serious fishing or want to catch some bigger fish, you'll be happier...

built this for some permit and bottom fishing, in the 30-60lb class 8' fast action extra heavy..this is a bridge rod,built to take a beating..

I recently noticed the freespool lever on my penn 320 gt2 was sticking just before freespool, it seemed to be in freespool mode but I could still push the lever a bit more and hear the click to know...
