they're migration depends on the bluefish run, they haven't shown up in the numbers, but they are out there...when the bluefish come in full the tips will be there.

Got a goo deal on a shark rod but its short you think it would be as good as a taller one its a penn 9/0 on a 5'6'' 60-80lb?

Depends where you are fishing. For the beach a shorter rod is ok, for the bridges I prefer a 8-9 foot rod.

on my shimano 50TLD.... i started of with 1220yds.
after that boat ran it down i probably got 1000yds now.
i do have 300 more yds of braid left on the plastic spool cuz not all of it
could go on the...

why? cuz if the one gets hooked on my line and stays on.... i wouldn't know what to do.

i used my new harness and drop belt(with it) last Saturday on that 6' nursey.
i felt alright at first but when the fish swam off.... i felt like i was going to loose my balance and fall face first....

it helps alot wen the fish is running to have all your balance straigt towards the fish if not your thrown out of balance and thats what causes you to get pulled....we were hooked up to a big hammer...
