Newbie here, first time post.

I know this is a boatless forum but didn't want to get purged so...

Just got back from four days in Michigan. Went salmon fishing with a friend and caught some...

I had the pleasure of making that trip years ago. Stayed at one place off the island and another place to the north in no mans land.

They're pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish. Plus, its damn hard to land them in the timber-laden rivers in MI.

You can't let the run their hearts out, or they'll snap you off on a log.
