Checked out Dania Pier yesterday......showed up at 630 in time to see someone land a nice snook of about 28 inches. The ocean was flat with no wind. There were bait pods of pilchards and baby jacks...

l used to have a boat and had to get rid of it. I have tried to go to the Dania Pier and Anglin's Pier with my family and have come up empty every time. Any suggestions? Location, baits or gear....

I try to use the least amount of gear possible, and I prefer mono over braided. I haven't hooked up that many tarpon, but every time I get one on braid, it snaps the line because there is no stretch....

Went this past weekend and going again this weekend, if weather permits. Caught limit of mangrove snapper and two hogfish....made a great fish cookout. Went with live shrimp and fished a few feet off...
