When I used to bass fish heavily I couldn't catch a fish on a jig or jig/pig if my life depend on it. However, I do really well jigging spinnerbaits with large trailer grubs.

Yes Blue Tilapia taste good and are much lower in mercury than bass or other predatory fish. You should try using bread or corn as bait in locations that fishing is legal for blue tilapia

the past month has been my best month yet of freshwater action!! tons upon tons of peacocks, mayan cichlids, spotted and blue tilapia, largemouths, and freshie snooks as well!!! enjoy the photos!!
