They last alot longer when you catch with hook and line.
Make sure you use Tiny hooks (size 6 or 8) and just put a some bread on it. Break up some bread or oatmeal and thrown some out, you will see...

i found this forum for bowfin (mudfish) alglers. all they do is go out and fish for mudfish. some of them even eat them :? bowfinanglers.com/fl.html

Or you could just peacock fish, or saltwater fish.

Except that most of the people in these clubs are from the midwest, where there aren't any peacocks and certainly aren't any saltwater gamefish.
