I caught my first bass today at Tree Tops Park today i used live shiners (the lady at the fishing store on Griffin and Pine Island is the nicest person ever!) Caught about 4 Large Mouth and the water...

What do you guys think i can catch in the drainage canals along University Drive between Sheridan St and Pines Blvd its along the North bound lane i've seen some gar and grass carp but anything else...

Shiners for live bait hooked under a bobber, any long worms on a Carolina rig, crappy jigs, or a hot dog on a hook.... my wife caught a 5' gar on a hot dog in our back canal. :cheers:
