A question for you guys who frequent the drift boats, does anyone use butterfly jigs and to any success? I don't see why they wouldn't work, but don't know if they would tangle up with others, etc....

Fished the 8. We got our limit of Kings so we snagged some snapper. Nice day out. The captain and mate were great. We had a good time fishing. Four Kings and seven snapper. The big King won the pool!

Morning and afternoon trips, lots of vermillion, a few yellowtail & some nice yelloweyes. Several just keeper size kingfish and a couple of cuda's.

I CAUGHT 1 MANGROVE SNAPPER, 1 GOGGLE EYE, AND A HUGE TORO. CRAPPY SPOT ON THE BOAT AGAIN. SEEN NICE TAILS , A FEW NICE MUTTON, AND A BIG OLE' MARGATE. SOMEONE ALSO CAUGHT A SQUID, THAT WAS COOL....

Yestersay i got 4 bonita and 1 albino file fish which on the pool,35 bucks .

Toady me a a buddy got 1 king each nd 4 bonitas each and i got cut off about 8 times and had a googan grab my line and try...
