Would like some input; I use fluorocarbon leader and everything that I read tells me fluorcarb is fluorcarb. I've used Ande, Seaguar and others where the price is a huge difference. Seems the fishing...

Seaguar are the people who started florocarbon. Their line is softer to tie knots with and is proven to work. I buy mine 50 yard spool off eBay. Ande florocarbon works too but tying knots on heavier...

About 12 years ago on the old gulf shores pier (alabama); I was still fairly new to pier fishing...I was bouncing a big ling sized jig with a huge slug-go on it (yep googan alert) under the pier....

Can anyone tell me if they have tried the new (at least to me) 100% Fluorocarbon line that Berkely has put out, I'm not talking leader material, I mean main line. From what I can see it coms in 200...

I got a shakspeare 700 combo reel for my 7'2 uglystick and I can't for the life of me get that reel to cast out far. I can cast out further with my other reel and rod combo than this one, am I doing...

i have about 100 yards of braid left over and i know its not enough to spool a whole reel with it but i was wondering if its a good idea to put mono on first then attach the rest of the braid on top...

Guys do yall use a j hook or circle hook if fishing near the grass brackish water w/popping cork? For the bait, what is the rule of thumb if any? Gulp Shrimp, grub tipped with shrimp?
