I bought a 14/0 in excellent condition...it just has some salt build up on on the spool...I tried cleaning it with some soap and water, but the thicker stuff is not easy to scrub off...any...

if the spool is out soak it in a bucket of Vinegar overnight....take it out and scrub with a soft brush....get as much as you can off.... rinse spool with water and dry it off

Where to find/buy these green polyfoam(?) parts, besides make them myself, i havee seen them on Marathon Pompano rigs?

Personally i use about 2 - 2 1/2 feet of mono leader with a 4.0 circle hook. Can't remember the weight size. My real question is where do you place your sinker? On the bottom of the line or above the...

hey there again, one quick question. does the color of the leader matter. i use the wal mart black ones,(9in 30#) is that bad? if so what leader is good for cathing some fish.

if your using wire on your jigs, its gonna cut your strike ratio down big time......use heavy mono..... keep in mind that fish are leader shy so dont use wire and dont use too heavy of a mono leader

I had some never used rusty hooks that got salt on them some how. I sprayed them with wd40 but curious id the oil will be bad for fishining, would that keep fish from biting them or will it wear off...

Just wondering if anyone here uses this series of reel, I have a couple of cheap okuma's, they cast well and do ok but they are cheapies, the epixor series looks like a better reel for the money than...

I have an Epixor 80. I've been very happy with it. I think for its reasonable cost, you can't go wrong. I've had mine about a year and it works great.

Did anyone had a problem with catching big fish on sabiki hooks? That is what frastruates me, i cut big silver perch with sabiki when i tried to cut some small bite fish, and my hook gone, then next...
