Flyfished some canals in Tamarac and Sunrise yesterday and caught a bunch of small bass, several mayan cichlids and a spotted tilapia.
Saw a few snakeheads but they were very spooky.

Beach inside John Lloyd will be fishable from the surf. Stretches on that beach are always desolate.

get yourself some hand picks and some lures...xraps....mirrodines..

the sportfishing in the canals and lakes is amazing down here. Its just a shame they are so polluted. Ok.hahah.i didn't know.i just moved from Boston to live permanently in Florida and i really don't...

Guys

1PM -5PM, I went on Fish City Pride Drift boat for 4 hour trip to do VJ. King mackerels were super hot.
We caught the vessel limit... They caught 25 kings on AM trip as well.

This was my first...

Hey guys,
So recently i discovered on Google maps that there was indeed a canal in the back of the park. I went the other day to go check it out but it looked pretty dead. No sign of baitfish, not...

There used ta be LM and Tarpon in that waterway... but if you are in Embasy why leave there are/were tarpon in them lakes.

Have not been in BP in years, since the kids skated or played baseball...
