Went to the small stream this afternoon where the canalised section is open all year.
In winter the shallow water gets very clear and I always wonder where the masses
of dace and roach disappear to....

It has been cold down here with quite some ice so I
struggled with fishing.
After the ice-out it stayed quiet with fishing but last tuesday
I finally caught my first tiny fish of the season...

Yesterday I visited Lake Oostvoorne near Rotterdam with my buddies from the flyfishingclub.
Lake Oostvoorne is a Brackish lake on the Northsea coast that is stocked with Rainbow, Brook and Brown...

My friend had to work today at our clubs trout hatchery today to fulfill his mandatory working hours schedule.
I am exempt from this hard labor because I run the club’s website but still tagged along...
